Q1 The first Two Minutes: How does the speaker capture the audience?
Capture the audience with people that they could relate to.
Note: You only have one chance to make a first impression

Q2 Body Language: How does the speaker connect "non-verbal"? Only had audio

Note: Use of the stage, habits (good and bad) Remember the impromptu exercise

Q3 Dynamics: How doe the speaker use dynamics to move the message
Thought he talked to fast. I felt like he was running. Used good voice variation.
Note: Remember the talk about dynamic range...both ways

Q4 How does the speaker develop the message?
I thought he develop the message well and gave enough information to the audience.
Q5 Illustrations and props: Does the speaker use them effectively in the message Used humor to connect with the audience and he also put them into the secene of the story.

    Q6 Overall Observation

  2. Q1 The first Two Minutes: How does the speaker capture the audience?

Sounded like you connected with them. Talked about celebrities and daily life, something they would relate to.

Body Language is NA. You sounded comfortable speaking. You knew what you were going to say and were well-prepared. However, you did use “um” and “uh” quite a bit. You might try just silence, instead. Also, use cadence of speech. You tend to talk a little quickly, which is ok. But mix it up with some slower parts or just pause and let people mentally catch up.

Q3 Dynamics: How does the speaker use dynamics to move the message

Heard some dynamic range. Seemed louder at beginning and fairly low at take-away. Other small variances along the way. Might use more.

Q4 How does the speaker develop the message?

Q5 Illustrations and props: Does the speaker use them effectively in the message
Had song sung at beginning, used some kind of slide or visual of temple.

    Q6 Overall Observation
Note: Help them...see things that they would not see in themselves
Great lesson. Nice details regarding high priest, temple, Jesus’s life experiences– painted the picture.
